This mostly flat course requires good shotmaking skills, especially off the tee. All of the fairways are lined with ten to twenty-foot mounds, and there are twelve lakes in the layout and a creek that runs through nine holes. A few greens are two-tiered and many have subtle breaks and slopes. A difficult hole is #9, a 518-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot that must carry a creek approximately 220 yards out with water hazards on both sides of the narrow landing area. The approach shot is to a green surrounded by water hazards that are not visible from the fairway.
